This is a dragon eye, painted with acrylic paints on a 12"/16" canvas. I emphasized the iridescence of the scales by brushing on some Folk Art Color Shift paint, and I added some glow-in-the-dark and neon paint to the iris for night-time enjoyment.

It is varnished with gloss varnish, for contrast and protection.
