Details

This is a residential full-room immersive mural located in Jamison, Pa.

It is the biggest mural commission to date, and it was painted over 5 weeks in October-November 2022.

As you walk into the room, you immediately feel immersed in a chilly late-fall monochromatic forest, misty and all-enveloping.

As you look up at the ceiling, the trees converge toward each other, in an eerie embrace.

Scattered skulls on the forest floor add to the eldritch atmosphere of this hair-raising woodland scene.

But they are not alone…

Turn off the light, turn on the ultraviolet lamp, and multitudinous ghostly apparitions appear to populate the forest with their sinister and unearthly features; grinning, reaching, flying, looming...

The whole mural has an illusion of depth, and a three-dimensional look, as well as a feel!

Not only as the closer trees bigger but the foreground tree trunks have been sculpted in a bas-relief style, making them truly stand out from the rest of the forest!
